Kyrie is undersized and only plays on one-side of the ball, so Ainge could conceivably value him at the BKN assets combined -- Tatum, Brown, '18.

Trade Crowder for a point guard. Keep the Brooklyn pick and take Beagly, Doncic, Aytom, Bamba or Porter.

Build around Tatum, Hayward, Brown, Smart and maybe 2 top draft picks from 2018. Although not having a legit PG next season scares me

If Boston was honest and transparent, as claimed, there's no call for them to give up even a 2nd rounder.

I think the Cavs want that Lakers, Clippers or Memphis #1 also to stash in their pocket. There ideal situation is having the Brooklyn pick and the Lakers pick hit this year. That way they surround James with young stars or they rebuild totally with those young stars. Thomas factors zero into their plans
