I can understand giving cash to help with medical/rehab cost but giving up anything in terms of basketball assets isn't acceptable. Most say Cavs won this trade. Let them void the deal, something else will come around.

I'd p--- them off by giving them a second rounder but adding protection to the BKN pick.

I'd give them Bostons 2019 first round pick, but I'd add top 3 protection to the Nets pick. If it doesn't convey then they can have both the Clippers and Grizzlies picks in 2019 as well.

They were overpaid at the start ......that was their compensation.....one of the best upcoming picks , nice rookie big and wing they badley needed for the cheap...

Everyday Cavs put a trade off the cheaper Irving goes out the door .

If am Danny I just sit with my hands in pockets and wait .

They will never get back a player as good as the one they are losing ......thats just the way it works when you have a disgruntled player wanting out .  TO BAD TO SAD .

Exactly! Don't be fools. Cavs are bluffing. They know very well that BRK pick is a compensation for Thomas. There's no way Ainge would be giving it, if Thomas was healthy. I'm not affraid. They'll take what they have.

I would give them andeadline time to sign the original deal,   or the next talk Zizic is OFF the table , for forfeiting the orignal deal......Cavs wait longer .....ok.  Crowder is pulled and Zizic inserted .

I would play very hard ball.   Cans are up,the creek all other offers are trash .  Time is wasting .

in other words ,  take assets away , the longer they wait the less Cleveland gets in return .

or they can just take Bender ( junk) and ACL Bledsoe and some weak pick for Irving.
