I bet he has signaled to the Cav brass that he does not want Kyrie in the same division as the Cavs. The Cavs are now scrambling to find a way out of the deal. Kyrie is taking his physical today, and once he passes the physical, Boston will tell Cavs to pound sand because the deal is done, and any problems with IT's hip cannot vitiate the contract because this was a risk of the deal.

Dang, this is about as far out there as it gets.  The Lebron hate is deep.

No it doesn't and the Celtics can't tell the Cavs to do anything.  If he doesn't pass their physical, they can void the trade if they want to.

Good, since we’re not in the same division as the Cavs.

No hate for LeBron, it is a fact that he carries a lot of influence in Cleveland.

A decent amount of people really like lebron on this board. The poster from Cleveland is actually one of the biggest fans of Lebron I have ever seen.

Yes I agree, but the question is still who determines 'if he passed the physical'

My initial thought was Lebron complained and it is part of the reason the cavs now have cold feet. ITs hip is old news, although the severity might have been misconstrued

Okay... change that to same conference.

Nope. I think the Cavs are done with Lebron dictating personnel moves, at least until he agrees to opt into his contract.

Gotta be. Only explanation for the weird, unprofessional behavior despite the complete transparency. Because it's not being driven by a professional, it's being driven by a semi-informed LeBron.

He could threaten them with a number of things, like publicly declaring that he won't re-sign or even worse demanding a trade.

I think this is a Dan Gilbert driven thing if anyone other than the GM is.

The Cavs probably wouldn't mind trading him if he's intent on leaving.

Yes, one simply cannot rule things out when Gilbert is involved. He's like Donald Sterling but without the racism
