Would you trade Horford, Tatum and LA 18(guaranteed) for Anthony Davis?

I'd hate to trade away our first marquee FA signing in franchise history within 2 years... but yeah you would make this trade.

Challenge: Can anyone think of a way to make a Davis-To-Boston deal possible WITHOUT having Horford involved? Maybe with a 3-team deal?

On September 7th when Morris can be traded, Boston can then trade Tatum, Brown, Smart, and Morris for Davis.  Some additional small dollar salaries could be included as well, to help balance out Boston's roster a bit, but that would be the general package. 

In other words, without Horford it would be hard from a roster standpoint, but not impossible.

Yeah it's still a long shot and would cost a lot in trade but there would be ZERO issues in matching salary and wouldn't require gutting our team or trading Horford.

Need the Knicks to suck badly and for Carmelo to get traded elsewhere.

I don't think you can do that to Horford if you ever want to sign another quality free agent. Shipping him to New Orleans would be looked upon very poorly by players and their agents.

That's the main problem in any AD scenario now.

With Crowder and his $7-8M it looked a lot easier to match salaries. Now real difficult.

as bad as I would like AD it requires too much gutting of team. Look for other options at a big.
