Would you trade Horford, Tatum and LA 18(guaranteed) for Anthony Davis?

I'd hate to trade away our first marquee FA signing in franchise history within 2 years... but yeah you would make this trade.

Challenge: Can anyone think of a way to make a Davis-To-Boston deal possible WITHOUT having Horford involved? Maybe with a 3-team deal?

Tatum, Brown, Smart, Morris? That would be a tough one to swallow.

As for the OP's trade, I would begrudgingly do it, but only because I love AD. We would then need to count on the very best vet min guys to sign with us and hope for the best from Smart, Rozier, and Brown.

Yep, even posted in the Anthony Davis thread but there's an article that says Davis could force his way out like Kyrie did and Boston could have the assets to pull it off or get creative in a 3-team deal.

And Kyrie is a HUGE lure to potential FA or trade targets.

hell no.  teams with too many great individuals never are balanced enough.  Horford is a great role player that is vital to winning.  Tatum is the future of this franchise and so is that pick.  I think giving up those guys would undermine everything that Ainge has built these past four seasons. 

If we were talking about rebuilding a team, then the answer might be yes.  But why blow up the team when you have a contender already?

Yes, I think most would do that deal. I don't know if NO wants Horford's contract. He's a bit overpaid at the max.  Though Davis is injury prone, he's still a game changer.
