Watching the video and  their offensive skillset, I concluded that Kyrie is the safer option going forward. His offensive game is so smooth and much safer from contacts and falling into the ground.

IT, while also a very good scorer, relies too much on speed, falls alot of times finishing under the rim. His style of play could really affect his hip and health on a long term if he doesn't find a way to change or adjust his game, even if he is healthy his season.

Reason why Thomas had better numbers last season is that he was the main option in Boston. .Irving was 3rd option behind Lebron and Love
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Where are you getting that from?

It seems like our board is becoming "fake news", where people state things as facts that have no basis in reality.

Kyrie led the Cavs in shot attempts and usage last year, and had the ball in his hands more than any Cavs player, including Lebron.

Love wasn't even in the same zip code.

This. These boards are becoming a study in confirmation bias and rationalization. Entertaining in a way, but also scary.

I have concluded that IT's health and hip may NEVER be the same and Kyrie is healthy and younger.

Kyrie actually relied on isolation plays to generate offense more than Thomas did. I expect Kyrie to be the better offensive player in our system though because he will see better ball movement in our system. I also think that even if Thomas was healthy he would struggle to repeat the success of this past season going forward. I don't think his numbers are sustainable for a long period of time given his age and style of play (not even taking into account his recent injury).

I get your point, but I would appreciate it if you didn't use the "fake news" meme here. Its a loaded phrase, and I for one think it's rooted in some very unhealthy stuff.

You have no information which suggests how Birdman came to that conclusion. It may have been just an impression he had based on one game he may have seen. People get things wrong all the time, and there is a lot of sports information that is extremely informal and sketchy floating around. Its fun for the average fan to participate, but it does result in a lot of uninformed opinions being floated.

We should all understand the difference between a blog and established professional news outlets. We don't have to undercut legitimate news just because someone got a point in a sports blog post wrong. This isn't ESPN or the Washington Post.

You may be taking this a little too seriously?

It's better if people back up their arguments. If not, it makes things around here about as informative as the average Facebook post. There is all kinds of misinformation being spread out the right now (I.e., "IT is 30"; "4 year age gap"; "Kyrie is more efficient than IT", etc., etc.) If we are going to make bold, definitive, easily verifiable statements, it is not a lot to ask that they be true.

Sounds like you didn't watch the Cavs last season or you just like making things up.
