She was 51 and succumbed to cancer.  I  feel real bad for him.  must be hard to deal with that and then get shipped off to a new place without your wish on the same day.  Just a rough week for him.

According to his dad, he's happy about the trade.

Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. cancer.

Boston needs to honor IT + Crowder big time on opening night. They deserve it. That's what we do.

I am sure there will be a big video tribute.  I expect one when Avery comes back as well.

That really sucks. I am just a couple years younger than Jim and I can't imagine losing my mother.

Stuff like this sure cements just how true "there are more important things in life" statement is.

agreed.

had to have been a royally screwed up day for Crowder no matter how the news of the trade was relayed to him

Losing your mom at his age is painful and will affect him the rest of his life. I know from personal experience. May she stay alive in his heart and rest in peace. Make her proud Jae!

Oh man!

That's so awful.   What a truly awful day that must have been.

In a sad way, I'm so glad that he and IT will still be teammates so they can lean on each other.

NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

My condolences to you. I lost my mom, as well—to cancer just two months ago. Totally sucks.
