It is easier to clean the whole deck, like DA just did with 80% of our starting lineup, and then have the new guys figure the pecking order and coaches players roles. Training camp will chrystalize some, the whole season will solve all of that.

I think Crowders best playing years were with us, I still wish him the best. He was a proud, competitive and underpaid Celtic.

Yeah, I was a little concerned with the meshing of Hayward and Crowder. I didn't think it would blow up or anything, especially if Crowder continued to start, but Crowder plays with a chip on his shoulder and I don't think he would have been all that happy losing his spot to a player Garden fans previously cheered for.

I also think we avoided a bitter departure with IT. If the Cs didn't sign IT next year because he  chose more money from an inferior team, people would have been all over him for leaving a great situation. Instead, Ainge gets to look like the bad guy here and IT can live on as an angel in our hearts forever. I think one more 'Brinks Truck' comment would have put many fans over the edge, as well.

bottom line is proven versus unproven or not that good.

IT? great player who may never be the same going forward and definitely not worth risking it

Kyrie? upgrade at PG, younger and bigger and better playoff performer than IT. You think teams will double team Kyrie and he will wilt due to his size like IT did?

I think Zizic has some promise to be a serviceable big in the NBA.  That is not inconsequential.  He was not great in summer league but I think there were fixable conditioning issues.  I am fine with trading him in this case but I was looking forward to seeing him develop.

I have watched zizic all season and he ran the court extremely well,pounded the boards set good screens and rolled well but was ignored in favor of three point shots.He was not known for his passing -he was only 20-he improved in summer league towards end -i stated it could be elevation,jet lag and a long season with little workout time-
Look Eddie whats your problem-he was running in cement shoes not like the way i watched him for WHOLE SEASON-i did not hype ANTE i saw one mid range all season but he could and did hustle and hit both boards
MIKE GORMAN STATED -he was a year away from being a year away-
I LIKED GREEN and he was voted best teammate by NBA players
,i have followed NADER from NCAA'S to Portsmouth Tournament,summer league to red claws rookie  of year and a star at  d -league showcase -and he was much better than James Young
