That's exactly what I was thinking lol.

They're gonna have a hard time moving Austin's contract though.

Doc is better when he's cooking somebody else's groceries.

If KG doesnt get hurt and this team 3peats, does Doc go down as one of the greatest coaches of this era?

obviously thats a huge Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing if, but I think its possible.

I heard it this morning on NBARadio, but didn't we know about this weeks ago?

In any case, good move for the Clips with The Profile now in the fold.  Doc is a better coach than a GM.

Yeah, Austin is there.  They need to convince Doc to lean on Austin to decline his option next summer.

Good for them. Let him do what he does best.

Wait, isn't he still going to coach?
I'm bitter.

Not if he still forces his way to LA and has the same relative lack of success there.

I have to say though and this may inadvertently be in Doc's defense, but it seems clear that the best situation is to have a specialist at each position. There is so much of a time commitment involved with each gig, nobody could do both well.

We're pretty lucky to have a coach that coaches and an ops manager that manages. They're both tops at their jobs. Good for us.

J-Kidd still coach/GM?  I predict little GMing to happen of any significance. Maybe Kidd gets away with it.

Kidd isn't GM for the Bucks.  I think he was the one that pushed for getting MCW in the Knight trade.

When has someone serving as coach and GM actually been successful?
