It really happened! He's retiring in green

Good to see. It would have been nice to see him play his whole career in green, but given how it all worked out I guess this is enough.

Plus his last shot in the Garden was epic.

Wished Ainge could have traded for him at last year's deadline. Not because I think he would have made any difference but how cool would it have been to see him in Green for the three playoff series.

Oh well. Great to see this happen. Can't wait for his #34 to go to the rafters.

Welcome back Paul Pierce! His last game at the Garden is the closest thing to history I've ever witnessed and that 3 he hit at the end produced an eruption from the crowd that will stick with me forever.
