From a Celtic life interview. I think this is very telling about possible Cousins and even Jimmy Butler trade rumors. Coach Steven's simply does not want to coach a guy like Cousins.

Brown and Tatum are about as humble and coachable as you could ever hope for in a top 3 pick. A marriage made in heaven Danny and be Brad.

I think Marcus Morris is a good locker room guy.

I've heard a handful of people in the Detroit media state this.

Yeah, for all of his offcourt drama, all I've ever heard about him as a teammate are good things.

I think it's really difficult to judge players who are part of extremely toxic situations (i.e., Cousins and Butler). Individuals are as equally impacted by their environments as they are in impacting their environments.

IMO Stevens and the C's organization is also set-up to take GREAT players with BAD attitudes and turn them into good/great attitudes.

Isn't it the coach's job to work with players so that they come to work with great attitude?

I would be not a single coach wants to coach a guy like Cousins.  For all the talent, dude is certifiable.

And some people just have bad attitudes regardless of the environment.

Very narrow POV of how the world works, particularly in an industry FILLED with entitlement and employees with guaranteed $$$.

Yes, but a priori recusing yourself from coaching players that might give you difficulties isn't very professional.

Like Brad Stevens, for example? The team is paying him to coach, not to have it easy.
