he's a bum. cut him now.  ;D
Obviously.

But really, no, I'm not concerned. It's summer league and he's looked really good so far.

I have found myself wanting Tatum to get more shots.  Its like unwrapping a new present to see all of his moves.  I was rolling my eyes when a lot of the others were jacking them up.

That being said, his scouting report says he can be a bit of a ball hog.  I'm not really worried though.  The biggest ball hog in the league was just named MVP, and Tatum will much more efficient in time.

Wasn't just Tatum, whole team wasn't passing. 0 assists isn't great, but it's OK given he only had 1 turnover. It was JB's game 1 stat line, 0 ast/ 7 tov, that had me concerned.

I can't fault Tatum for recognizing that he's one of the only legitimate offensive threats on the team and taking the game into his own hands. Why pass when you can score?

It doesn't matter it's fixable you rather him not be aggressive and dumping the ball to Nader while he Isos the last 9 seconds of the shot clock?

There was a handful of times he did pass it to the open man. Problem is the open man didn't hit the shots.

And Im sure they are pushing for him to score. It's what he's going to do coming off the bench. And also, he's going to have either IT,Hayward, or Horford to pass to most nights. His assists will go up. But I also don't expect him to go over 3 or 4 a game in a few years. PP averaged 3.5 for his career. I'll be fine with that.

I'm much , much more worried about Zizic's zero rebounds in 10 minutes of action last night. Zero rebounds for a guy who's main skill is rebounding.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Trade for Okafor!

He's shown some real play-making abilities but SL is SL and on a lot of his passes guys missed open shots.

Did he have zero assists in every game or are you just trying to find something to criticize? I don't remember seeing this mentioned about the other 3 games.

It took Pierce half his career to learn how to pass out of a double team and create for others. I think we can wait at least through training camp for our 19 year old rookie.

Sigh. The overreaction from this Blog on Summer League games.

You have people declaring Tatum as a Superstar, people labeling Zizic a bust, Ojeleye has one good game and suddenly he can contribute next season, Brown had bad few games and now he isnt that good anymore.

Meanwhile guys like Jahlil Okafor are being glorified.

He is a 19 year old kid who is just scratching the surface of his potential. There is no reason to be worried about anything other than potential injury (like Fultz had last night).
