Say the Lakers wanted to sign him for Max and Danny doesn't want to.

Could a trade of IT for Ball and Deng work? Would probably need filler from LA too

Would this allow them to sign all 3 of IT, George and Lebron?

Leaves Boston with

Ball.       Rosier
Hayward.        Jaylen
Jae.       Deng
Morris.     Tatum
Horford.     Zicic

I think Ball could be a great distributor for all the offensive weapons we picked up this off-season.

I would rather keep IT, but not at a max contract(taking his size and style of play into consideration).

I want NOTHING to do with Ball nor his dad. I don't want to have a player on my team who's going to be a moving target for the rest of the league to aim at.

AND LIKE I SAID...IF AINGE WERE TO DO THAT, HE SHOULD'VE JUST KEPT THE #1 PICK AND DRAFT MARKELLE FULTZ.

If Ball has a good enough first year that I'd consider bringing him in, then he'll have had a good enough year that the Lakers won't want to let him go. If he's bad enough for the Lakers to want to get rid of him, I'm sure as poop not going to want to trade IT for him.

So, no.

And here I had assumed it was de rigueur  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Loving what I'm seeing from Lonzo, but trade the King of the Fourth?

Why would the Lakers give us Ball if they want to sign him? He's unrestricted so if they wanted him they would just sign him and give up nothing. This entire idea doesn't make any sense.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

Don't see any side agreeing, Lakers are banking on the Ball-Ingram duo to become good with Randle-Zubac-Clarkson-Nance being key cogs to form the next Showtime Lakers while we're trying to emulate our 70s-80s transition in terms of dynasties.
