There seems to be several options for a rebounding big out there. Who Ya like?

Dedmon if he'd come that cheap. He's an elite rebounder and shotblocker, perfect role player for 10-15 mins off the bench, played well in San Antonio's system.

I'm doubtful he uses it on a big for rebounding purposes.  He seems to vaule spacing and speed to a much larger extent, and doesn't want to sacrifice  either for rebounding.

Then why did he draft Zizic then? lol The C's don't need Reggie Evans but they still do need an athletic big that can grab some boards.

Deadmon opted out of a $3 million contract. He's getting more than room.

That may speak to his tempered interest in rebounding bigs.  That he came for free (late first) and could be stashed appeared to be strong motivators.

An "elite rebounder and shotblocker" can only get 15 minutes off the bench?  ::)

Well, the room exception pays $4.3 million, so it would still justify his decision. But I agree, he'll get more.

What is the status of Bogut? Is he healthy? What was he earning last year?

In regards to Demon, could we work out a sign and trade? What if we sent the spurs Marcus Morris, that would allow us to bring back about 8.5 million in salary which is about what Dedmon would make with the full Mid Level exception.

The way the money is drying up and if he wants to go to a contender we could be his best bet on a 2 year contract with the second year as a player option....

Zizic has a ways to go, it is early and I not calling him a bust.  But from what we have seen there is some adjusting and his offense game is not polished.   I think he will be fine, he is young, and I have heard he is a hard worker.  I think he would benefit from some weight work, too.

Pretty risky.

Can we flip somebody to offer him slightly more? Wonder how much he's looking for
