Danny Ainge is a Top 5 GM in All of Sports

Ainge is unbelievable.  He just gets better every year. No GM Could do what he has done in basketball. He rebuilded this team very fast, He won a championship.  I can't wait to see where he takes this team in another 3 years.  BTW,  I believe Bill Billichick is number one.  We have 2 of the best GM's in sports. How lucky are we?  Ainge is almost as good as Red.

It's tough to hold the one title during his reign against him. He inherited a mess of a roster, built a championship team that coulda/woulda/shoulda been a dynasty have not for injuries. He is currently building another one, and hopefully it results in more than one banner.

FWIW, I think he's number two in the NBA behind RC Buford.

Of course the combo of Pop and Buford is the Gold Standard. Then there's Ainge, Morey (HOU) and Myers (GS) in the next tier.

Morey and Presti isn't much better than Bird, imo. They had all the talent to win a banner, but couldn't get over the hump. Pat Riley is better than those two, imo.

presti is a terrible drafter the past few years. Also, he had 3 superstars and couldn't even win a championship, and they all walked. He traded for perk who ended up not being an NBA player

I wouldn't say he's a terrible drafter. He's actually one of the best. But his other track record outside drafting are subpar or average at best. The only whiffed picks Presti had was Cameroon Payne and Perry Jones, as far as I can remember.
