I know it was summer league, and it was the only time I saw him play live last year, but I was really impressed with him.

He can shoot the 3 , seems to have a pretty good handle for a big man and has the footwork from his boxing days.

I say he can at least be a Marcus Morris type.

Much more excited for Yabu than Zicic.

He has very high potential (for reasons you hit on) but that's all at the moment.  I am excited to see him play.

I've got the same feeling about Yabusele vis a vis Zizic, RH.

I'm cautiously optimistic at this point.

Owing to Avery's departure, we may see Yabs up close sooner rather than later.

Who knows?

He has nice tools at his disposal. Depends on if he gets My sort of reps.

Yes -- but I think he is another year away from being a rotation player. His awareness about what is happening on defense needs a lot of work. He is good on offense already but not good enough to make up for his defense. 3rd string PF this season.

I don't know how good he'll be, but he has some intriguing traits.
He's big, surprisingly quick for a player his size, and he can shoot from the outside.
I worry that he'll get overweight.
I think he'll gain a lot from being on the bench this year. Even if he doesn't get much playing time, the daily practice with Morris, Horford, and others will be good for him.
Celtics fan for life.

I don't know, and I don't want to speculate.  These Utah SL games have me gun-shy about making any predictions on young players that have not played against NBA or even G-league level players.

His size and nimble feet are pretty intriguing.. He can shoot it..  I think he Can be really good but I dont see how he can get really nba good if we dont let him actually play in the NBA..

I dont think he is going to play overseas for all this time and then come to the NBA and be ready immediately.

I think he can eventually be a really solid power forward, hopefully we put some time into him this year and turn him into a serviceable big by sometime in 2018.

Meh.  Undersized power forward with average skills.  Perhaps he can carve out a role and last a few years or perhaps not.

I think he is a career D League level talent. Looks pretty impressive against rookies and low end players, but is not going to be that competitive against real NBA talent. I'd love to be wrong though.
