We needed to save 800k. We saved 3.8 million. Isn't Yabu approximately 1.6 million? We can bring him over now if we choose correct?

It's strange. KGLL opens a thread and it's not the pattern

TERRIBLE MISTAKE.

We should have drafted _________ instead of _________.

Do we have to fire Ainge? Burn ourselves?

Yes. This may actually be part of the plan. Hope it is.

It would be great if only to get a sense of how good Yabs really is.

So if Yabu is brought in, how many spots open for rookies drafted this year or last?

TP and yes. But something tells me Ainge is working to use the room elsewhere and leave Yabs overseas at our discretion. Long term, it would be better for him to stay and get the minutes.

I have a feeling our bench is going to be full of G-Leaguers lol, at least spots 11-15.

Something tells me that we're not.  More specifically, this does

Quote from: Adam Himmelsbach
According to a league source, the plan has always been for Guerschon Yabusele to be on the Celtics' roster in the fall.

Not to mention that we aren't going to find a free agent willing to sign for ~$2.25 million that will be so much better than Yabusele that it justifies keeping him overseas another year.
I'm bitter.

Thanks Cousy. Automatic TP. Really happy with the trade. Avery has to go and if we are adding Yabu, Morris, Hayward. How can you complain!

Austin Ainge said months ago that Yabu will help us this season.

Anyone feel free to correct this rough draft of this moment's roster:

Hayward
Horford
Thomas
Crowder
Smart
Morris
Brown
Tatum
Rozier
Zizic
Theis
Yabusele
Nader

It seems that Mickey and Jackson are non guaranteed and Theis' contract isn't added yet?

Looks like 13 guys which become 15 with Mickey and Jackson. The experts know Yab and Nader's deals which perhaps, don't kick until the end of camp. Yabusele was chosen in the first round which is different from Nader.

Then you have three guys from this year's second round...Ojeleye, Bird, Allen

Goes to show ya that "having lots of dwaft pix" can eventually bite you in the a#@.

Cut mickey and jackson who we already know won't pan out
keep Ojele(project) and Allen(for backup), don't know Bird enough to say..
Very excited to see Yabu with the team, but only if CBS think it's better for him

Because 90% of the teams in the NBA don't have developmental low cost guys sitting in positions 11-15?
