  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Other fanbases are so salty over the Celtics success. The whole 'Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. is Ainge doing' on RealGM is very annoying to me, but I've learned to understand that in life, jealousy breeds negativity and hatred, and we have a lot for other teams fans to be jealous of.
We missed out on Butler and PG13 but..

Let's look at Danny's effort to add talent to this organization of JUST TWO SUMMERS!

Hayward, Horford, Brown, Tatum, Smart, Zizic...

We don't know what we have in guys like Semi or Theiss or Yabusle yet, but what else am I missing? That's not even including the IT or Crowder trades.

We have a great GM guys.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

TP. Completely agree.

Plus this team is not 100%. It's close, but they still have ways to upgrade if they need to, via draft picks or trades. Hoping a disgruntled star emerges this season like Porzingis or dare I say, Anthony Davis

Other fanbases can laugh at us, but I'm the one thanking god we don't have the likes of Garpax or Pritchard running the show here.

And possibly two top five picks next year's draft. Plus a herd of other lesser picks.

The Celtics may not get by Cleveland next year, but after that I expect a long run of years going deep into the playoffs.

Thank you mr. Ainge and mr. CBS.  ;D

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
Ainge has also had some underwhelming/concerning moments for us. What he offered Jordan for the #9 in 2015 when he should have traded KO and our pick (#16) for Myles Turner.  It sucked that we made the playoffs that year and I will always stick by my viewpoint that he should have waived:Bass, Jonas, and Gigi.  Hindsight is 20/20 and maybe a few other things (like drafting Yabu at 16) people could say "who knew?"....a lot of CB posters had scouted Turner all year and when his new measurements came out and the hip/gait/pelic doctors report came out a lot of us analyzed it and considered Turner to be a huge steal w/ a skill-set that could translate right to the NBA.

Ainge didn't have a pick with which to draft Turner with...

Didn't get Smart but did get Rozier, another high draft choice, Zizic, Yab, Semi O, Jabari B, and Kadeem A, and Nader.

I only see 3 guys from the summer league team on the active roster.
Zizic, Tatum and Brown

I think Nader, Semi and DJax will be in the GLeague. Nader may request to be moved\released so he can join a NBA team...too deep in his position.

The rest will be cut.

well, the celtics HAVE to suit up at least 12 players each night and have at least 13 active players on their roster i believe. if so, we may also see ojeleye and nader on the roster, though they will spend time in maine.
