If it would leave us 4 Mil in cap space, couldn't we go after a Big man on rookie contract by just giving picks.

Maybe like Dieng in Minny

How much would we have?

Dieng already signed an extension. 4/63M, starting next season.

Sure, I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him.

But I'd give up 2018 Boston Own 1st at best. Not BKN, not LAL, not any 2019 picks..

True but it is a little risky. I'd try someone else and have him way down the "Plan A.. Plan B.." list.

I think we would still be a little short, but moving Rozier would do it.  I'm not a fan of Okafor, but I could get behind this.  We need another big and I don't know where we're going to find one.  He certainly doesn't fit our system, but maybe Stevens could coach him up.  Going from a team that was intentionally losing to a winning team might change his attitude.  I think it's worth a shot if it only costs a late first and Rozier.
