This rumor sounded like a guess from the Utah commentating crew.

Smart is obviously being shopped but the op makes it sound like an imminent deal. Not the case.

The announcer said there are heavy rumors that Smart is going to OKC, that's all I said.

Yeah but the context is important.

These guys are from utah and clearly have no idea what's going on.

Later in the conversation one guy said they were thinking of trading olynul and another guy asked "why are they trying to trade those guys, maybe to clear up cap space?"

When you just frame it as "NBATV" it lends it credibility it doesn't deserve.

They are in an arena for the whole week with NBA executives and GM's. I'm pretty sure they have some good sources out there.
