The Jazz under Snyder have played at the slowest pace in the league the last three years. Hayward could have had better counting stats in a more jacked up offense.

This team, with Gordon Hayward, will beat any team in the East minus arguably the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers.

But I will tell you that a Celtics-Cavs playoff series will go to 7-games.

Hayward is easily a huge upgrade over Crowder.

TP for the video! I'm honestly not that familiar with his skill set since we play Utah so infrequently. He's much stronger on the drive than I realized (which is an area Crowder seems to have regressed at), so that could fill a huge need for us - not just scoring, but scoring in ways other than all the 3s we've been jacking up. He and a more experienced Jaylen should give us more options on offense so that we're less reliant on our streaky shooting. I'm getting pretty excited!

So basically you think Hayward is worth 2 extra playoff wins? You sound like the guy on the other thread that thinks he is "just not that good"  ;D ha, ha, just pulling your chain.

As I've said before, Hayward still has more upside remaining. After a get acquainted period, and if IT can come out healthy, Hayward can average 24-25. There's not much he can't do on the offensive end. His signing should take some weight off IT's shoulders too. And Bradley and company should see more open looks on kick outs.

We got a good one.

Gordon is seriously underrated, especially around here. Last year, he was just as good as Paul George and Jimmy Butler. Stats based on 100 pos because Utah played at the slowest pace in the league: http://bkref.com/pi/shareit/Ea58T

Full stat comparison: http://bkref.com/tiny/0AOtb

Thanks for sharing that.  Regular season advanced stats put him behind Butler but ahead of George.  Playoff stats were less kind to Butler (but he was matched up against the Celtics juggernaut).

As an aside, after looking at these stats, why do people keep saying Butler can't shoot?

Don't get me started. Not to derail this thread, but I think Butler's one of those guys who will always have a narrative around them despite what they're doing on the court. Butler had one of the better offensive seasons in the NBA last season even though the team constructed around him combated his skill-set.
