Unless Gallinari can guard 3s reasonably well, this might not be a great on-court fit. In a pure asset value sense, Danilo is worth more than any individual asset given up and if he plays up to his best and is more durable than he has been recently, he will be worth a lot more.

They could've done a better job of negotiating the contract though.

Clippers hired Jerry west as "Special Consultant", similar role he had with GSW. Not sure Doc is
still calling the shots there?  It will be interesting to see how West navigates this team in a
loaded conference.

It s miracle we won a championship with the likes of Doc Rivers .  Given the talent Celtics had while he was here Daffy Duck could have coached the team as well.
