Go get Monroe from the bucks for nothing and sign nick young on the cheap and grab one more big McGee if he is there. I would be ok with this if Hayward said no. All on one year deals.

Yeah man, the title is misleading.  I love Monroe though.  I'd love to get him.

Monroe is interesting, though he's signed through 2018 for 17.9m, which is a lot more than nothing. There's a new GM there, so who knows? It's a lot to pay for a seventh man, but Jason Kidd found an effective role for him this past season.

Mind if I put forth the candidate Stephon Marbury?

What? We're not listing nutcases to add to our roster? [dang], sorry. Pass then.

That said, I don't mind Monroe. But not sure if that's wise.

Don't think Monroe really does anything for the Cs outside of use up cap space.

I would look into absorbing Will Barton and Faried into cap space.  Helps the Nuggets sign a point guard (Hill?) and addresses pressing needs for the Celts.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Besides score, rebound, and pass.

Do not see a need for Greg Monroe on this team. The squad is already sorted at center with Horford as the starter and Zizic as the backup. I don't like Monroe as a starter next to Horford or as a pairing next to Zizic off the bench. Too limited on defense.

Don't think he fits the way the C's play. And he's not a great defender either.

Is Monroe going to help us get a championship? No? So what's the point
