With two picks in the top 5 if the Lakers fall in that range.

With Brooklyn pick whether it be #1 over-all or #2-#5 use that on a much needed big man. Either DeAndre Ayton or Mohamad Bamba. A better way to explain this is, what ever pick between Brooklyn or Lakers falls lowest use that on either guy. Of course the Lakers pick has to be #2-#5.

So we got our big man. With the remaining pick whether it be Brooklyns or Lakers, offer a trade with Sacromento Kings for Buddy Heild but heres where this can get complicated. Id offer both picks if we can get CWS and Buddy Heild but im sure we gotta shred some salary so if CWS is off the table then use the better of the two picks for either Ayton or Bamba then trade the other top 5 pick for either Buddy Heild straight up or throw in Jae Crowder.

2018 Roster in both situations

1st option
PG-Isaiah Thomas/Marcus Smart
SG-Avery Bradley/Buddy Heild
SF-Jaylen Brown/Semi Ojeleye
PF-Al Horford/Jason Tatum
C-Ante Zizic/Ayton OR Bamba

If Isaiah takes time to come back from his injury then start Avery Bradley at PG
Buddy Heild at SG
Jaylen Brown at SF
Al Horford at PF
Ante Zizic at C

Option 2
Isaiah or Smart at PG
Avery Bradley or Buddy Heild at SG
Jaylen Brown or Tatum at SF
Al Horford or Ayton/Bamba at PF
CWS/Zizic/Ayton or Bamba at C

Clearly i dont think Horford is capable of playing C and we got tons of options in the Paint.

Crowder + top-five pick for Buddy Hield?

We wouldn't give a top-5 pick for Cousins, or George, or Butler. Why does Hield move the needle?

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry
Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson
Jordan / Bowen

Not just Buddy Heild, they would have to throw in a pick or player. I think just a top 5 pick straight up for Buddy would be worth it the kid can shoot from any point on the court

If we wanted hield, we would have drafted him

There's a reason hield is being passed around like a potato  so early in his career, and its probably not a good one

This trade idea is worse than the guy who wanted to give someone the BRK 18 pick to take Al Horford's contract off our books.

I ve been discussing with other teams fans and was really surprised to see how many think Horford's contract is a liability. Is it bcs ppl think max contracts are only for 'stars'? Is it bcs they didnt watch the C's play? I dont know what it is, but it really moves the discussion to the wrong direction.

Fans underestimate how hard top-5/10 players are to get; if only every team could have a Lebron and a Kyrie to offer a max.

People don't know what they are talking about. Multiple teams were lining up to give Horford the contract we gave him. He then went out and performed exactly as expected and was the only real difference between a team that lost in the 1st round last year and a team that went to the ECF this year.

It's a good thing that the Cs don't have any desire to shed him from the team or we would apparently be in real trouble.  ::)

Boston overpaid for Horford.  However, every team is overpaying for pretty much everyone.  It's the new NBA.  It won't be long before we've adjusted to these ridiculous deals being the norm.

Wow, I didn't see that one. Crazy thing is this might actually be worse.
