Horford with his demeanor that can express what he found here in Boston and isaiah elevated to legendary status in two years .Horford with his all around game and a passing big in need of another target .The chemistry and direction and the reception/results these two got as well as Danny , Brad and Wyck -all very smart, gifted individuals----and then the banners ,the legends that are made here-Miami sports are not a passion but just part of lifestyle
You want a legacy come get banner 18, there is youth and draft picks ,no toiling in the obscurity of Utah-
Cleveland is self destructing-you can be here with multiple opportunities to knock off the Warriors while still in prime
i hope we get GH but his wife is a miami beach fan. GOOD LUCK!
In addition to that Joe Ingles wife is her bestie and she is staying in Utah
That is 2 strikes against us.
I don't think the Miami thing is that big of a draw, could be, but most likely not since it's rumored they stay in INDY for the summer. He can afford a summer home in Miami.
Ingles does hurt, Horford and IT need to bring their wives in on the meeting and have them take her out around the town.
But if Hayward is as basketball minded as they say, it should come down to basketball reasons. Adding Rubio and signing Ingles doesn't move the need compared to what other teams have done. Some one pointed out 12 teams in the west should be fighting for the end to middle of the playoff pack. While in the East it's the Cavs,C's,Wizards, and then who knows.
Golbert is their only really nice shinning spot for young talent right now. Exum hasn't shown is potential that was all the buzz a few years ago. Hoods decent, but most likely a role player. I think Smart/Brown/Tatum/Rozier and maybe Ojeleye are a stronger core of young guys coming off the bench, and still have a shot at a possible two top 5 next year.
I still have a feeling that he goes back to Utah with the Ingles signing, not sure if they talked and thats a sign, or Ingles just got more money with Utah. But Utah is also didn't want to spend the money on Hill because they like to keep it under the cap so they don't get taxed. Having family out there and learning how they run their city, it's not surprising they are very conservative with their money(not a bad thing, smart really) but building a championship team, they need to go over a bit and thats what separates Boston from Utah.
So if it's a Family and Friends decision- Utah
A weather decision-Miami
Basketball decision-Boston
Or the way things have been going in the last couple days-SAC
