depends on the $ and years, which I would be concerned about in a world where Jrue Holiday makes Lebron money...

but I love me some Gallo and he would be a perfect fit on this team, if healthy

Oh hot [dang]. We replace 2016 Crowder with the perfect version of 2016 Crowder, who doesn't have 2015 Crowder's defensive upside!

On a short term deal it would be a nice backup plan. He can give you minutes at the 4 and knock down shots. When healthy he got to the ft line a decent amount as well.

He would fit. But we get him for like 3/4 of a season, every season. He makes Blake Griffin seem like Ironman, from a health perspective.
Celtics fan for life.

NO, God No. Hayward, Millsap (3 years), or save that cap.

Would prefer Millsap's age to Gallo's injury history if he's still available then, but I guess you could do worse for a plan D option.

I wonder if we would be interested in Hayward AND Gallo? If Denver gets Millsap, Gallo doesn't make sense there anymore, but someone like Crowder and/or Bradley would in a sign and trade.

Could an IT, Brown, Hayward, Gallo, and Horford lineup work? I'd be really concerned about the D of that group.

Save the cap for what? We will lose it when we re-sign our guys next summer.

Why? Are we trading crowder or AB?

We just drafted a guy who plays the same role.

Crowder & AB play the same role as Gallo would?

Because we want someone on the team other than IT that can actually shoot.

This isnt true. You can wait to resign your own guys. IT's cap hold is very low. This is media misinformation. We can easily retain our capspace and then go over it still.

my best case scenario as well.
and also one big NO for Galo.

if Hayward doesn't sign, trade Crowder and let the young guns play

Again, presumably we drafted Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum for a reason.

Why spend money on Gallo? He won't give the Celts a chance against Cleveland.
