Especially if we land Hayward why Tatum? And if we miss out on Hayward it's even worse, IT is probably not a happy camper. Watch him want out next year.

Cousins, Butler, PG all went for peanuts but hey who needs stars we need draft picks. We gotta try and shoot for the moon and a number one pick, oh wait. Smfh

Probably because he doesn't play any defense. Stevens had a video session with fultz and this was one of his big concerns. It was also reported the whole team had concerns about Fultz desire and ability to win. fultz never won at any level. if he was so great, why did they lose so much ? Why did Fultz disappear in the game versus ball/ucla?

If he can't get it done at any level, why would he get it done with harder and better competitors?

Also Tatum was considered better by the Celtics management

Because, in response to your question, ainge thinks Tatum is at least as good as Fultz.  So ainge got his man AND a what may be a great draft choice.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Ainge obviously felt that either Tatum was better than Fultx or that the difference was negligible.

This, but there is no reasoning with people who are invested in the Fultz hype.
