With CP3 in Houston and PG13 in OKC it looks like the top 2 candidates may be shuffled to the back of the top 10 in MVP voting.

Who takes their place as favorites?

First names that spring to mind are LBJ and Kawhi.

The east really sucks so LBJ could coast, but he also might recognize a legacy opportunity. A couple more MVPs would really bolster his resume.

I think John Wall is a guy who will sneak his name into real contention. Any one got any other ideas?

Lebron should win it every year as he is the most valuable player every year.

Sure but he hasn't won it since 2013. This thread isn't to discuss who should win it m, but more who will win it.

Im thinking Kawhi. He just keeps on getting better and better.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

And Kawhi  gets better on both ends. LeBron only plays part time on both ends...

When you know you are almost a lock to go to the finals every year, can you blame him?

I think Harden will challenge for MVP again, and if they finish 2nd in the West then he won't get overlooked this time.
