Yeah.. I'll be pretty let down. Not "oh my god how can I live" depressed, but just upset after all the hype.

I'd much rather try the likes of JaMychal Green, or Gallinari, or dare I say, Millsap (if he's willing on a 3 year max deal - option 3rd year).

I'm not high on Olynyk (even after the Game 7 performance) and he's WAY TOO inconsistent to suddenly become the "2nd highest player on the team"  :o

Oh and please let most of the dead weight just walk (Amir, Zeller, etc.)

Actually this will be about it. That and some very minor moves signing scrap heap guys to fill out the roster.

I think Ainge is resolved to build through the draft and wait out the other super teams.

Certainly a let down, but not super devastating. Franchise would still be in terrific shape both long term and short. I'd be interested to see how a Klynk horford starting frontcourt would work.

Lots of passing and range.

Let him walk!
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Unfortunately the resigning of KO is going to be the only thing Boston gets done. Time to look forward to the 2018 draft

25% of the cap would be $24.75 million at a $99 million cap.

$20M per would be a bargain for KO.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Come on Phantom, you are better than this. Stop overreacting and get back on track to what might really happen. KO at $20M as our only offseason move isn't a reasonable thread idea
