Ainge did he right thing. If Indy didn't want to take the offer that was on the table that is on them. He keeps the Nets pick and the Lakers pick next year. He is planning on the future with this team. Why is that so hard for people to see. Three first round picks and a player. Is the offer on draft night. I stand by Ainge on this trade. 15 years from now if those picks next year come one two we will all laugh at this night. If he adds Hayward it's still a win of an offseason. We still have the youth play for the future.

You realize the odds are better that these lotto picks won't be stars, right?

Nobody will care in 15 years lol.

Some of you are insane.

I guess we could have held on to #5 pick too when we got a 32 year old Allen who was on his last leg?

He as well as many of our fans dont realize this.

They just listen to Ainge and then think they actually are Ainge. Therefore they think we can just hold on to picks , draft young kids, and that we will be instant champs lol. Sickening

as if these guys wont get hurt, be busts, or bolt.

The Celts will continue to be a team near the top of the East with no chance at the Finals let alone a title.

Oh well, they'll be fun to watch for most of the year.

2018 draft is LOADED and Boston will get two of the five best players in the draft...Not too upset about missing george...

I am concerned they miss on Hayward...of so how in God's name to they fill out the roster

I didn't even want Paul george that bad. I like Hayward better. Also 2018 is loaded at the top. Lakers didn't get George so they will still be bad

Odds are if they keep them both, one of them is going to be a top 4 pick in a top heavy draft especially with the West getting allstars

Would you rather have George for one year and watch him go bye bye. Or a shot at 2 studs for the next 15 years. Give me that shot for 15 years .

main problem isn't  no trading for PG(only), problem is ain't trading for Butler or Cousins because Ainge doesn't want to give up on anything on this roster and there is always talking that player isn't the right fit for Boston, who the hell is? those future draft picks? are they gonna give boston rings? cuz he obviously doesn't want to give any pick via trade and he is really really bad at drafting

the same old story and at the draft night ainge will again pick a guard who can't shoot but is a great defender or center who can't rebound

Didn't Ainge just take Tatum who is the antithesis of what you said?

I suppose it's worth noting that as the west continues to improve the Lakers will have a harder schedule than tank rivals in the east like Orlando Chicago and Indy. Obviously the same logic could be applied to dim the outlook of the Nets pick, but now is a time for happy thoughts.

Phoenix is supposedly going after big fish and their youn players should continue to improve. LA could well be the worst team in the West which.

He will need atleast 4-5 years to be all star, if he ever reach that level. And people are talking here for the next 15 years, while every team is trying to build to be better right now, only Boston is waiting patiently to build a contender team to dominate from 2025+?
