I'd like to see them get Millsap for 3yrs. I don't know if they can fit Millsap and Hayward under the cap, but he's a good fit with Hayward. Not too far from George but getting up there in years.

Resign KO...build through the draft...be good in 2025

There is NOBODY out there I would spend money or assets on other than Hayward. Rudy Gay? Give me a break. That guy is a broken down mule

"Plan C" is to be a top five team while likely having four high lottery picks on the roster beginning next season.

The executive of the year award should be renamed the Danny Ainge award.

This should be regarded as an opportunity, not a setback. There are still options out there to beat the Cavs next year.

I'd put the focus on Hayward first, cut Zeller, delay Olynyk, and looks for a 2nd star--by trade or FA signing.

Plan C will be for Wyc to stop giving interviews where he sounds like a fanboy, Ainge and ownership to take lots of heat from impatient fans and media who don't understand the business aspect of the NBA and build it the slow way.

Can we swap Crowder for Anthony?  let brown and tatum play.  melo in the 4 for a year.   i think it's a better team.   and melo always plays better in a system like brads.

I think they take one more look at trading for Carmelo after signing Hayward.

IT - Bradley - Hayward - Anthony - Horford is still a good looking team for next year and then Anthony comes off the books due to his option.

Would be a good team IMO, bring out Smart and Brown to ramp up the defense.

No matter how many asset's we had there was never a Guarantee that we would land a big time Free Agent..  It always takes two to tango..  You cant force guys to sign nor can you Depend on other GM's to make smart logical Decisions for their organizations. (Those teams suck for a reason)

Building through the Draft was always option A..  Picking up pieces along the way to go with our young talent in my opinion was always the smart play...   If he could land a PG or a Durant or a GH that would be awesome but that is actually a longer shot than finding a Star in the Draft.

Ainge is building a team that can sustain a high level of greatness for the next decade. Thats where the real money is..  He can win a chip this way.. This is why he hired Brad..  To build a champion, not to buy one..

Bullsh!t.

He is building a team based on his and the front office's ability to judge top level teenage talent. That's risky stuff. He could just as easily have put the Celtics into mid level NBA hell or worse. And lets face it, he doesn't have the best drafting record. He could have just made a giant mistake in the Fultz trade and Brown is no certified superstar.
