Crowder, Smart and any choice of 1st round picks from Clippers and Grizzlies. LOL Ugh for Pacers.

If Ainge is able to pull it off without giving up AB, it will be genius. Maybe another deal has to happen with another team because I don't know how we do it without shedding AB's salary.

I was hoping Smart would be part of our future plans. I'd hate to lose him and AB, especially when AB is gone no matter what.

This is a loaded question.  Bradley is the better player but Smart would be the better player for the newly constructed team.  Smart can lead the 2nd unit.  Bradley cannot.  I'd feel more comfortable having Smart and Rozier together then Bradley and Rozier.  I love both Bradley and Smart but the things Smart does on the court cannot be completely measured by stats.

I think Zach's point is Indiana doesnt want a one year rental in Bradley, ironically.

I think the final deal will be Jae, Salary filler, Lakers OR Brooklyn Pick.

To get even more under the cap, i can forsee trading Bradley for picks.

The OP is misrepresenting Lowe's article.  He is not reporting on the Celtics' offer, but speculating on it.

He's also saying there is no way the Celtics can extend George right off the bat without getting rid of Horford, which is contradictory to popular belief around here.

Crowder alone for a 1 year rental is too much, nevermind everything else.

Bradley will have to be moved. They cannot afford to keep him and sign others

What Smart does on the court can for the most part be measured in stats, specifically fg%.

Correct.  It's also a poor speculation because Smart+Crowder doesn't work for matching salaries, and by the time you've gotten to the point where you have Hayward on your team, Smart, Bradley, Crowder, and Brown are the only salaries on your team that you can trade if you're keeping IT and Horford.  And since he says Brown won't be traded, you're left with Bradley, Crowder, and Smart.  The only combination that matches is Bradley and Crowder, or all three.  Not Smart+Crowder.

I think Lowe meant to say Bradley+Crowder, because he also talks about a roster next season that includes Smart.

Give me Smart. Avery just is too injured for my taste. There is always something with him

The only reason that's contrary to the popular belief is because not enough people have read the dozens of posts I've made saying that this is in fact the case.  And it pretty much is.  Either you trade everyone but Horford (including IT) to make room for an extension, or you trade Horford.

Lowe is right.  I am right.  People who choose to believe otherwise are not.

Same. Smart's also bigger and able to defend some small forwards at times.
