It's speculation. No concrete deals/extensions yet.

Will be that way until July 1 when we talk to Hayward/Griffin.

It's suppose to be dependent upon signing Hayward.

Give up Nets 2018 #1, AB, Crowder and Brown.

Keeping Tatum and signing Hayward.

Do it now Danny!!

No way you have to give up that much. George stripped any leverage possible. The extension helps, but it won't take all of that. You'll keep Brown or the Nets pick.

Report: Celtics could have Paul George deal in place if Gordon Hayward signs
http://www.weei.com/blogs/ty-anderson/report-celtics-could-have-paul-george-deal-place-if-gordon-hayward-signs

Quote
According to CBS Boston’s Adam Kaufman, the Celtics are ‘in a position’ to acquire George (and with a three-year extension for George in place), but the deal is dependent on the Celtics first signing unrestricted free agent sharpshooter Gordon Hayward.

Quote
Signing Hayward first would allow the Celtics to know exactly how much salary they would have to clear off their books to match salaries in a trade to fit George and his new deal into the mix, and would also make Ainge more willing to sell pieces off his roster in order to create a Big Four featuring Hayward, George, Horford, and Isaiah Thoma

That is a huge overpay lol. No chance Boston does that.

I'd really hate to lose brown but Tatum may end up being better overall.  He's younger and is a better shooter, plus can possibly be worked in to play the 4.  If it ring in Hayward why not.

First off, Kaufman is a cool dude, but even he acknowledged it's just pure rumblings, no real rumor.

Second, HOPEFULLY Hayward takes a "small paycut" if it means keeping one current piece on the team while ALSO adding PG13.

I'm hearing to make it work with PG13 extension as well... we'd have to give up Bradley, Crowder.. AND Smart   :o

Brown is STAYING. He can shift to the 2 when AB is potentially dealt.

Adam Kaufman is not a reliable guy. He is a radio talking head.

Unbelievable what some people will give up for a one year rental.

This is all gonna be disappointing when we don't get either.

But I like Tatum. So....

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington

did you miss the premise of this thread?  The premise (no matter how flawed), has George signing a 3 year extension, so Boston would have him for 4 years.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

All for this if they can extend him. I would trade the Lakers 2018 pick, /crowder and AB
