Big upgrade for The Wiz. Brandon Jennings gave them nothing in the playoffs!

We need to monitor Washington a lot closely nowadays.

If Lebron leaves Cleveland (after next year), Lowry leaves TOR, Millsap leaves ATL... then the East could literally become a two-horse race between WAS-BOS (with Sixers rising but still not there quite yet).

You're right. Washington with some tweaks is a contender...

TP.  Just beat me posting.   Can someone explain the motivation for NOP?  Hopefully it involves them trading AD to us.   ;D

Yep. Good thing is, it seems they don't have an avenue to acquire another star without gutting their current roster, or giving up a war chest of future picks (which hurts them A TON in the future).

It's probably just a small-market salary dump so they can resign Jrue Holiday without paying too much of the luxury tax.

He only costs 2M so trading him doesn't save much.  They'd have to offer Holiday 30M to be worried about luxury tax.

New Orleans ( at $85,899,479 for 2017-2018 season...) is going to be  over the cap and still not make the playoffs. That's really sad.
