I just hope he doesn't trade down and someone leapfrogs him taking DSJ.Seriously? You want him to take another average PG in Smith? Half the [dang] roster would be undersized guards. And you pass on Fultz? This would be a disasterBookmark this post. Come back to it at the end of their rookie contracts. By then I am almost certain DSJ (if he doesn't have injury problems or tear his ACL again) will be one of the best 3 players (if not the best) from this draft. Bookmark it. For real. Not to toot my own horn but I'm very, very good at ranking prospects. If I would be bothered making a blog and putting the time into it (and if prospects never skipped the combine like this year) my record would be really, really good.Out of curiosity, who do you think will be the best player from this draft at the end of their rookie contracts? And who do you think we should take at #3?All this said I absolutely can understand your reluctance to take another guard since our back court is too crowded.

Quote from: celticinorlando on June 21, 2017, 06:40:28 PMI think that Isaac or Tatum will be the best at the end of their contract. They should take one of those. I just cannot get excited about another guard..and the 4th best PG in the draft...esp when they have four of those guys on their roster.IMO, after Fultz, DSJ is the most complete pg in the draft.

He had one great game at Duke and then freaking disappeared at times. UVa shut him down and he looked like he didn't even belong on the floor. He vanished lots of times this season and only seemed to get hot for a few where he got lots of pub for it.
I really like DSJ but more prevalent here is that Bulpett is Ainge's personal propaganda mouthpiece. It's far more likely Ainge wants something from another team for Smith.
Danny gets a rep for trading but never does unless it is for picks.
Smokescreen for leverage with the Knicks?

Line up next year IT, Bradley, Smart, Rozier and Smith Jr. Second unit 2018 Nets pick, 2018/19 Kings pick, 2018 Celtics pick, 2019 Clips pick, 2019 Memphis pickThere...that combines everything Danny loves...small guards and picks
