I never take into consideration a college player's stats when judging talent. There is so much that affects a player's college stats like pace, system, strength of competition, roster makeup, etc.
What you have to do is look at the skills of the player such as defensive intensity, handle, shot form, box out form, passing skill, court vision, finishing skill, BBIQ, etc. Then you have to look at the physical measurables like height, length, speed, vertical lift, side to side speed, first step explosion, etc.
That's the way I evaluate talent, not by stats.
Strangely, I just happen to agree with that analytic system and think Ball might be the best player in this draft. Been saying this for a while.
