 Boston Sends

 Al Horford For Salary.

 2017 #3 #37 #53 #56
2018 Nets Pick 2018 Lakers Pick
 2019 Clippers pick First
 2019 Memphis First

Six first rounders. Three seconds. 9 picks and chooses Horford. Potentially two top five picks in a loaded big Man draft.

They actually could build a great team with the right moves.

 Anthony Davis

 Hayward
 Bradley
 Thomas

My point was, the offers we can put together are almost unheard of, and almost impossible to turn down

You don't sent Horford as a salary match. Horford and Davis together is crazy good!

IT
Bradley
Hayward
Davis
Horford

This is a championship lineup even against the GSW.

People are desperate to throw away our chance to have something special in Boston.

Perhaps it hasn't escaped the notice of those in this thread that Anthony Davis plus a bunch of mediocre players isn't even good enough to make the WC playoffs. Or that if it's "impossible to turn down", there's a reason for that?

Take out Horford as we need him. Lets sweeten the deal by adding Crowder, Rozier, Green, and Zeller.

A 12 for 1 monster godfather package the Pelicans cannot refuse.

If I could send like J Crowder instead of Horford....and I thought there was a plan to get Hayward....and I thought there was some sort of plan to keep this team together somehow....yeah I'd do it.

Big ifs

Multiple top picks hasn't worked out so great for the T Wolves.  Taking a while to work out for the 76ers too.

I think I remember an entire decade of it not working for the Nets and Clippers.

No to trading Horford.  Other salary matchers would be ok.  Even if we have to lose good players like Bradley, Crowder, or Smart.  Think we should save the Brooklyn 18 though.  The other picks would be all expendable in an effort to land AD though.

The answer is yes. The details are a bit different, though.

The deal would be:
1)  all the draft picks, crowder + bradley + zeller for Davis
2 ) sign hayward for $30,300,000
3) release all expiring contracts.

That gives you the following lineup, with a total salary of $102,410,456, which is under the cap.
Guards: IT, Smart, Rozier, D. Jackson
Forwards: Hayward, Horford, Brown
Bigs: Davis, Mickey

All under contract this year and next year, and next year we can max out IT using bird rights.

This team should beat Cleveland (3 allstars, 1 almost all star) and will have a long future, and will create playing time for our young players.

If I'm the NO GM, I would pull the trigger. That's a lot of picks, including your own picks that will be high lottery picks for years.

Great for both teams.
