This is Tatum's first time working out in Boston, but his second time working out for the Celtics. The last several Celtics picks worked out for us two times. Further evidence that Tatum will be the pick.

The draft profile from Amanda is telling a lot about the type of kid is Tatum.
It has become a bit more obvious that if Danny keep the pick, it's Tatum he had in mind since the beginning.

I'm falling more and more in love with the potential Tatum pick. The article said he really impressed with his shot-making and footwork today. The kid is going to end up a mixture of Pierce, Anthony, and Parker, though I think he's significantly more athletic than all three, possibly even longer with more potential for putting on size, too.

Here's a nice write-up on Tatum and his humble beginnings. I love him even more now that I know he's from my neck of the woods. He's going to be AB awesome fit next to Jaylen on the wings/forward spots.

If Jackson is refusing to workout...him and Ball have red flags. Don't pick a guy that isn't willing to do anything at this stage in his career because it will only get worse. Attitude, sulking, disciplinary issues.

Tatum's okay, but his foot speed is so much slower than Jackson's.

You don't refuse to draft someone just because the won't work out for you. There is a ton of game tape to evaluate him.

If report that Celtics turned down Fultz in part because he lacked explosiveness (which I find weird), then obviously they favor a Jackson over a Tatum.

Of course if we give the pick for Butler (ugh, I hope not), all this is moot.

good point. for all the complaints about jackson's shooting, his short chart looks better than tatum's.

yet, so many scouts see tatum's offense as superior. at this stage, i will just trust ainge.

Duke was a little dysfunctional last season.  They had Grayson Allen and Kennard sharing point guard duties and neither were natural at it.  As a result, a high percentage of Tatum's shots were shots that he was creating for himself.  He has very advanced moves and as people keep pointing out, he is very smooth.  He has also has very good form on his shot and 85% from the free throw line. That said, that shot chart shows the results weren't good.  I think it's going to take awhile for him to perfect a lot of those moves.  A lot of NBA players don't attempt a lot of the moves he uses until they have been in the NBA for a number of years if at all. 

Basically, what I'm saying is many of his shots were of high difficulty and therefore his shooting percentages were low.  However, his ability to create his own shot and knock them down is very promising.
