Boy, if Danny really does have Jackson and Tatum rated equally or wants Tatum over Jackson, I could really see him moving down once again and picking up another pick (such as that unprotected 2021 Miami Heat pick that Phoenix owns), Chriss, or Bender in the deal. Makes sense for Phoenix, too, because I think Jackson looks to be a much better fit between Booker and Chriss than Tatum.

Moving down from 1-4 would look a bit better to me if we got Tatum, the Lakers/Sacramento pick, AND another significant asset from Phoenix, preferably that Heat pick. I like Tatum over Jackson anyways, so that's a win/win for me regardlesss.

I'm all for moving down to 4 or 5. I think we get Tatum no matter where we pick in the top-5.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Realistically, what do you think we can get from Phoenix to move up a spot?

I would want Chriss, but would that screw up our cap room?

Probably get a somewhat protected first round pick.

A future first for sure, maybe a Heat one.

Come on. No way Phoenix is going to give you a young prospect or a future first (except heavily protected) to move from 4 to 3.

I'd do 4, 32, future 1st for 3 (I might throw in 37 if needed).  I'd do 4 and TJ Warren for 3 and 37.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I like the #32 pick. That first one sounds fair. Miami 2018 is preferable, would take 2021.

Lets have it. This is an easy deal.

#3 for the #4, and we get the rights to swap our 2018 1st rounder to theirs.

What say you, Phoenix?

It'd be pretty gangster of Ainge to trade down twice with the same pick in one draft.  I don't ever recall that happening in the NBA.

I hope we take Jackson but if not, try to get Bender and 4. Give up a future late protected 1st maybe.

Ehhh, I can see them trading the 2018 Heat pick (which will likely be a late lottery pick next year) without adding protections (well, relevant protections.  They may make it #1 protected in 2019, but that's irrelevant because 1. the Heat won't be bad enough for a top 7 pick next year and 2. the Heat won't be bad enough for a #1 pick in 2019)

I don't think we trade down to #4, though, unless Ball falls.  And if he does, I expect a mini-bidding war between the Suns and Kings that nets us a mid-first and Tatum
I'm bitter.
