Tatum looks durable

Some of the players can live of their length and verticality in college and i am a fan of quick twitch and jackson gets up soooo quickly-its a gift
                       BUT
sometimes it inhibits growth in other areas. Magic Johnson Larry Bird and Paul Pierce all learned all the skills and tricks to to overcome lack of verticality
Tatum has nice footwork and has that Paul pierce fade away-
The high flyers worry me in terms of injuries or if an injury limits there explosiveness like Blake Griffin. A dunk is still 2 points but good footwork getting defense leaning or seeing angles and getting separation are the tricks these guys used to become all stars scoring two or three points

 I believe Tatum looks and seems to play durable, i think he needs to put on some lower body strength.bulk and there is alot that goes unnoticed in a finesse player vs a high flyer

I like Tatum a lot, wouldn't surprise me if Danny picks him over Jackson as the all-around better player (and a year younger).  The only concern seems to be that he might not get his dribble-drive shot off so easily in the NBA.  He has a somewhat slow and deliberate way of gathering himself as he gets closer to the rim.

That said, Paul Pierce had a deliberate way of gathering his dribble drive, so there's that.

Offensively, yes but defensively no and one could argue that Jackson is more versatile quite easily.   I have seen many a report that indicates that very thing.   Tatum is great offensive player and from what I have read and seen he has NBA ready offense.

I think Ainge will take whomever falls to him because he thinks there is so little between the two.

I like Tatum as well but if Ainge is taking Jackson over Tatum, it tells me that Hayward is in the bag. Tatum and Hayward are redundant.

I want Tatum because he's a better all around basketball player than Jackson. Jackson gives you the intangible things that Smart gives you...but his deficiencies are loud and clear.

paul pierce was know for elbow fade aways and step back fade aways--not the dirk type-you had me doubting myself so i looked it up-there is even wall paper of him shooting fade aways-a corner
 a corner fade away was infamous for winning a game with no time left
