thing is, none of their young players would get a high enough pick in return to merit trading them.  Someone may take on Ingram or even perhaps Russell but not for anything top 10 that I can see.

I think Russell gets them mid-lottery. Somewhere in that 5-8 range.

Ingram, I believe is still highly thought of. I think he gets them top 5 but I don't think Magic makes that trade. Nor do I think Magic should. Ingram is too talented.

I don't think Randle gets them into the top 10. I think he is late lottery to mid-to-late teens if he were to be traded. Same with Clarkson.

It was just reported they are looking to possibly trade for George to keep him away from the Cavs who had Indiana reach out to them about a trade. So if the Lakers get George they will be good enough not be a lottery pick I would think. So the C's may have to wait for the Sacramento pick, is that pick protected as well? If so Ainge got screwed on the trade he should have received more for giving up the first pick.

There is no trade they could do to get George this year outside of #2, or trading ingram....Which would be idiotic since he isn't resigning in Cleveland and will just go to LA.

LA wont tank next year but they wont be signing many Free agents to get better.

I love how people are so sure of this and think that George would jump from a true contending team with the best player in the world to one of the worst teams in the league. IT'S. NOT. HAPPENING.
