I think you meant to say, "Paul George has informed the Pacers he will sign with the Lakers after this upcoming season"   :'(

Does this put Indiana in a no win situation or what?

Having your star player tell you in the offseason that he's gone at year's end, and by making it public diminish the assets they can gain back in any kind of trade.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about that decision if I were a Pacer season ticket holder.  Think it would tick me off big time to know he's just marking time until he can leave MY team.

Given the timing, there's what, a 99% chance Danny is behind this leak?

Actually never mind, just saw the tweet and saw the phrase, "Prefers Lakers".

So it's Butler or DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT! Or Trade Down Again And DRAFT!

Let's low ball the hell out of them.

Jae Crowder
Tyler Zeller
Memphis pick
Clippers pick
Celtics pick 2018

Then trade Avery Bradley and/or Marcus Smart for a decent big

Sign Hayward

Draft whoever

Indiana gambled and lost, man they should have traded him for value at the trade deadline.

Not gonna get much in return now...

Messes up his trade value. Lakers have no urgency to trade for him. As they can just sign him via FA

Well, we know Danny Ainge isn't afraid of gambling or defying conventional wisdom.
