There will be no protections, you don't trade 2 late lottery picks and a 3rd pick for a 1st pick, much less having protections on it

I don't think you can add protections to picks you acquired from other teams when you trade them, so I think the Lakers pick is unprotected.

This changed last summer.  Picks are now protectable.

Nope. The rule has changed. If you own another team's pick outright, you can protect it, so both picks could be protected.

Per WOJ the sac pick is only one that's protected and the protection has not been identified yet. Lakers pick is unprotected

According to Bobby Marks' Twitter: the league changed the rule last year, you can put protections   On picks received from other teams in previous trades .
