I'm very apprehensive about the rumors myself.  Now that we have the opportunity to draft the next superstar, I'm not fond of the idea of trading it.  But in the event that there's fire underneath the smoke, it's worth noting that Fultz isn't guaranteed to make us contenders, and it's also worth noting that he's not the only player with the potential to make us contenders.

And I'll also say this:  whether I like a move or not, Ainge has been a shrewd trader over the last several years and he has a ton of leverage here.  Philly and LA apparently want Fultz badly, but they can't have him unless Ainge gets exactly what he wants.  They know it, he knows it.

Yeah. I trust Danny. But man I can feel this in my bones we should not noT NOT trade FULTZ.

At this point I rather trade IT for #3, and filler, than Fultz.

Or draft Fultz, keep IT through next year, sign Hayward, and go for the championship.

Watch some Josh Jackson videos.  Consider that he is more explosive, will be able to get his shot off easier in the NBA, is a creative, nifty passer, and a really good defender and rebounder.

In short, become psyched about Josh Jackson.

I have. I'm not thrilled about having an undersized 4 with a broken shot. He's a 3&d player and the 3 is questionable. I love Marcus Smart but we don't need another gritty defender who can't shoot.

But if Jackson turns into Giannis 2.0.....

a) He is not a 4, watch him bring the ball up, handle in iso, and pass

b) why is his shot 'broken?' he shot 36% from 3.  remeber when they said that about Jaylen?  how did that work

c) he is not Marcus Smart

Fultz is the best player in this draft by a wide margin.  I don't need to talk you off a ledge because there is no ledge.  All this talk of trading the pick is just talk.  Scalabrine has said all year, before we won the lottery, that the team loved Fultz.  Danny is drafting Fultz.

Josh Jackson is my second favorite player in this draft, but he is a mile behind Fultz.

I struggle between Jackson and Tatum.  I've gone back and forth many times.  Fortunately that is irrelevant because I agree with you 100%, both are a mile behind Fultz.

I don't hate the idea of getting as many chances at Porter/Dayton/Bamba as possible. This team needs size in The worst way.

It's fine that you both think that, and you may be right.  But this is NOT a straight up deal.  They get Jackson and probably 2 more 1st round picks, one of which is an unprotected that will have a very good chance at top-10 if not top-5.

This isn't about Fultz vs. Jackson.  This about what on earth do we have to put together to get Anthony Davs.

Danny Ainge is Rick and Brad Stevens is Morty. And they're flipping off the rest of the NBA.

I have spent too much energy on Fultz, I will be sick if we don't get him!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Why the heck are we considering another small forward right out of college, that needs to develop his shot?
Brown's not good enough?

I think this whole 76ers thing is a ploy to get other GM's around the league thinking about what they could offer for the number one pick. Just to let everyone know that DA is open to offers.

And all the PG talk...the guy said he wants to be a Laker, and he's going to be a free agent shortly.
I'm sure there is no way Danny is dumb enough to trade for PG and not be able to sign him.
