except for some heroic hero-ball that worked in key games, IT doesn't just dribble around. He does play a lot off the ball and he only turns into ball-hog mode in fourth quarters - and he was often more efficient in doing so than Lebron or Curry.

Did you know IT was 31st amongst PG who played at least 15 minutes per game in dribbles per touch?  27th in seconds per touch?  This absurd "dribble around and do his thing" has no basis in reality whatsoever.  Sure, he was 10th in touches, but that's due to the construction of the team, and it certainly didn't stick to him on a regular basis.

Also, given how beaten up he was by the end of the year, I'd suspect he'd welcome 10 possessions a game where he's a spot-up guy in the corner. We know he wants to extend his career.

While Hayward is capable and willing to create his own shot, he also looked like a more complementary player in Utah.  This doesn't equate on several levels.  Never heard of the author.

TP..exactly...IT is real effective off the ball and Hayward is, aside from a good shooter, an underrated playmaker.

They will ENJOY playing with each other.....hope it happens....I think it will.....also, Hayward might be reluctant to come here WITHOUT IT here.

I hate when speculation from one person turns into a rumor.

I don't think this is crazy at all, maybe a bit exaggerated (as in Hayward maybe has some, or minor concern, not "'significant").

Cousins expressed similar thoughts after Thomas left the Kings.

DMC on PG changes: "it’s been incredible. It’s been a smooth transition. The ball is moving a lot better. It’s not stuck in one place ...

Also it doesn't matter if it's true or not (Isaiah over-dribbling/dominating the ball), it just matters what Hayward thinks.  And think it's pretty natural to wonder "will I get enough shots playing with a score first 30ppg PG?" 

I think just about everybody around the league likes Thomas as a person, but that doesn't mean everyone wants to play with him all year long.
