Jonathan issac to me fits exactly what the celtics need.
The celtics need to get younger for a brighter future. They need better rebounding and interor defense and cheaper then amir johnson.
He is 6 11 and can guard 1-4. He can hit the 3 and has an overal fg percentage of over 50%.He is best knowen for his amazing defense. He has scored more than 20 points multiple times against top college teams.

Multiple reports are saying they are willing to trade the pick for an established vet. Personally, I would like to give up smart and a late round first pick for the number 7 pick. However, I think it needs to be Avery bradley and our 2nd round picks for the pick.
This trade give the celtics a young big man that they despretly need. I would believe he would take amir johnson's minutes. With his ability to shoot the three and rebound, He would be a great improvement to amir johnson.Trading away bradley gives Fultz the minuates he will need to devlop. I imagine at the start of the season smart would be the two guard untill fultz came into his own. This would help his devlopment immensly. This improves the teams future and present. It still leaves the celtics with plenty of money to go after hayward.
His biggest weakness is his weight. He needs to gain muscle if he wants to defend 4's and 5's in the nba. This will just take time. With a lot of hard work, he could be an amazing future pf for the celtics.
