Here's my take:

Trade Avery Bradley, #37, and #53 to Minnesota for #7.

Draft Markelle Fultz, Lauri Markkanen, and Sindarius Thornwell.

Waive Zeller, Mickey, and the rights to Olynyk.

Sign Danilo Gallinari to a 3 year 60 million contract and Jared Sullinger and Gerald Green to veteran minimum contracts.

Sign Sindarius Thornwell and undrafted free agent Amida Brimah to 2 way contracts with the Red Claws.

2017-18 Roster:
Thomas/Fultz/Jackson
Smart/Rozier/Green
Crowder/Brown/Nader
Gallinari/Markkanen/Yabusele
Horford/Zizic/Sullinger

Thornwell/Brimah

I think we are aiming to set ourselves for one of two paths:

1) Find a big fish over the next 2 years than can compete with GSW and Cleveland
2) Position ourselves well for the era of the Fultz, Brown, Nets 18

I incline to the 2nd option and in that regard the following would be he best offseason for me:

Draft Fultz + 2nd rounders (haven't done my research yet!)

Waive Zeller and Mickey, stash Yab

Renegotiate Isaiah to the $25.25m max

Use extra cap space to upgrade Rozier into a vet big like O'Quinn or a stretch 4

Re-sign KO to $56m/4 at most

Use room exception to get either a stretch 4 or vet big

Sign Green to vet min

IT/Fultz/Jackson
Bradley/Smart/Green
Crowder/Brown
KO/Jerebko?/O'Quinn
Horford/Zizic

My practical offseason. Is to be practical and not go crazy.

Draft Fultz
Sign Gordon Hayward (where there is smoke there is fire) & Alex Len (sneaky reclamation project)
Release/Renounce Johnson, Jerebko, Olynyk, Green, Zeller, Young
Bring up Nader, Zizic, Yabusele

Ballhandlers: Thomas/Smart/Rozier
Wings: Hayward/Bradley/Fultz
Swings: Crowder/Brown/Nader
Bigs: Horford/Len/Zizic/Yabusele

Bench: Draft Picks or Vet Mins

I do like the idea that Minnesota might make the #7 available and a package built around Avery Bradley makes sense. I love Bradley and don't really want to see him go but something is going to have to give with this roster at some point.

I'm not sold on Markkanen, though. Kind of feels like he could just be Channing Frye. I'd probably only do the deal if 1. Jonathan Isaac was still available at 7 and  2. There was a good bet Hayward could be signed.

Isaac is the only guy in that range I'd really want to draft (I'd probably throw in Yabu, too, if that helped) and if Hayward isn't coming I want to hold on to Bradley.

1.  Draft Fultz
2.  Make sure we keep Fultz
3.  Sign Hayward
4.  Trade Bradley (we're gonna lose him eventually, might as well get something for him) and fillers to Pistons for 12th pick
5.  Draft and keep Zach Collins (my somewhat sleeper) #poormansporzingis - but better rebounder
6.  Go on vaca

If Gallo is the guy they get in free agency, I think they do so without trading Bradley. I only think Bradley goes if we need to create cap space for a max guy.

Not making any trades and adding Gallo is my practical offseason.

Isaiah/Fultz
Bradley/Smart/Rozier
Crowder/Brown/Nader
Gallinari/Olynyk/Jordan Bell (with the 37th pick)
Horford/ Zizic/ Withey (with room exception)
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Markannen's floor is Frye.  I don't see it though.  He's a much more offensive player.  He can drive and shoot. Much more varied in the ways he can score.  Frye's just a spot up shooter.   Frye's never been a go to scorer or top player on his squad.  He wasn't even a go to guy when he was at zona.    Lauri's ceiling is much higher.

I agree that Markkanen would not be my choice in an AB trade. If Isaac isn't available at #7 then that means maybe Tatum slides. Worst case I wouldn't mind OG Anunoby as a long term defensive force at the 3/4.

In Markannen I see his ceiling as Bargnani. That may seem like a negative but at one point he was a dynamic scorer who was soft inside and didn't rebound.

- Trade IT to the Wolves for the 7th pick
(alternatively trade IT to the Sixers for Saric)

- Use the pick to draft Isaac (hopefully he is still on the board)

- Renounce Kelly - Amir - Jerebko - Zeller - Green - Young

- Decline team option on Mickey

- Trade Jackson for a future pick/salary relief

- Sign Hayward (I believe it's a done deal)

- Use the room exception to sign a vet PF (let's say Patrick Patterson)

Fultz - Smart - Rozier
Bradley - Brown
Hayward - Crowder
Patterson - Isaac
Horford - Zizic

I dont think Bostons would have chance at Hayward if we trade IT for a pick or a rookie.

Would Avery fit in Dallas? Dirk would like one more shot, and if they could sign Paul and Hayward... That's a nice starting 5

Justin Anderson, Powell, and their pick would work no?
