So it only covers the 80's rivalry. I thought they would cover all their matchup since the 1959 Finals and their championship pedigree since the George Mikan days.

I just watched the last part. That was pretty good, though I was really hoping they'd get into the last part of our rivalry from 08-10.

Ah, if only KG wouldn't have got hurt in 09. I think we would've 3peated.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

it hurts to think about.

If everyone is healthy, I think we lose in '10. People forget LA had a lot of injuries that year too.

It kind of makes me hope that Ball goes to LA just to try and renew that rivalry. Between Fultz and Ball and Ingram and Brown, the parts are certainly there to make it interesting.

They did cover the 60's ...................should have included the renewal in '08 and '10.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

At LEAST they showed how the Lakers only won Game 4 in 1987---because the refs Blew that call on the Kareem missed free throw. Should have been Celtics ball with 5 seconds to go and a one point lead---Instead they give the ball to LA--and Magic hits his Junior Junior Sky Hook. Even Pat Reilly admitted that if they had replay back then, things would have been different...AC Green and Byron Scott too. The ball was off of Mychal Thompson and Not McHale....Big deal--cause then the series is tied 2-2---Celtics won Game 5 in Boston and anything could have happened in Game 6 and 7 in L.A.

It was a pretty even handed show for the most part---but what nobody ever brings up is how The Lakers played in the WEAK Western conference--and cruised through both the regular seasons and playoffs every year. Celtics got murdered in the playoffs by 76ers/Pistons/Hawks/Bulls/Bucks---while L.A. only had to play Dallas/Golden State/Denver...
To make matters worse for Boston, is they also had to play those strong eastern teams 5-6 times during the regular season too...While Lakers only had to play Philly, etc. twice a year. Screw Ice Cube saying that the Lakers beat us 2/3 times--when our strongest team was 1986--Lakers were petrified to have to face us, so they wimped out vs. Houston. C's won BOTH regular season games vs. Lakers that season...Once in L.A. WITHOUT McHale.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Would have been awesome if they had talked about 08-10

Then they should have ended the whole thing With discussing the future of the rivalry with highlights of fultz vs ball and Ingram vs brown . Then roll the credits.
