Excuse me if this has been posted already... and honestly if it has I'm surprised that there isn't more discussion around it.

Early in the process Fultz indicated that he will only work out for the Celtics, a few days later he's working out for the Kings who own the #5 and #10 picks... There's absolutely no way Fultz get to those picks and he knows it, so it begs the question has Danny already told Fultz that he is interested in a package with the Kings? And if so, what could an attractive package from the Kings look like... WCS, #5 and #10 picks?

There's no other way to look at this except...something's up.

Which players or combination of players on the Kings would the Celtics want? Obviously the Kings have no chance to draft Fultz other wise.

What a terrible trade that would be for the Celtics.  Fultz is the best player among the 4 involved in that trade.  Generally, the team getting the best player "wins" a trade.

If thats a real option then if i were Ainge id want both 017 #5 and #10 picks, Buddy Hield and 018 1st rd pick. Only way id think about the idea

I really dont understand why people are so excited to trade our #1 pick to the Kings for package based around WCS and the #5 pick...

Because in their minds WCS isn't a below average NBA player putting up above average stats on one of the worst franchises in the NBA. It's like Tobias Harris all over again.

Could be sweetened with a third team or with a future unprotected #1.   Danny could also make the deal contingent on certain players being available at 5 and 10.   Tatum, Isaac, WCS and SAC 2018 swap (don't think Sac can trade their 2018 as 2019 is gone) for Fultz?

Id consider 4 and 5. Fox and tatum coming off the bench would be pretty cool. But id probably still say no

I would not consider 5 and 10

If Danny does pull the trigger, it means he's going for huge depth and youth movement, possibly the youngest team ever lol. Half the team might have an average age below 20

Reports today clarified that he's not woking out for the Kings. He MIGHT visit to talk to them, and its mainly for the Kings front office to create a good impression of themselves around the league with young stars to repair the damage from the past administration. Todays reports made it clear that the Kings do not have nearly enough to trade for the #1 pick, and the Celtics don't have interest in trading with them either.

And this one describes it best:

http://www.csnbayarea.com/kings/source-no-plans-projected-top-pick-fultz-work-out-kings

"NBC Sports California has learned that the Kings will not in fact host Fultz this weekend and there are no plans for him to workout for the team. But there is a good chance the 19-year-old freshman out of Washington will swing into Sacramento between now and the June 22 draft for a conversation with Kings’ front office."

"It’s unlikely that the Kings have the firepower to entice the Celtics to move from the top overall spot, but getting to know prospects during the draft process is good practice.

Fultz’ expected visit further confirms the changing conversation regarding the Sacramento Kings front office. A year or two ago they struggled to bring in top tier talents, but the team of Vlade Divac, Scott Perry, Ken Catanella and Peja Stojakovic are making major strides in their ability to foster relationships with both players and agents."

This whole Kings thing is a joke. They have nothing worth discussing for the no. 1 pick. Strictly a PR move by SAC front office. Pathetic.

I wondered if SAC called DA and tried to make a trade.

SAC: "Hey Dany how about we work a deal for that kid Fultz?"

DA: "Um, yeah, that would be a no."

SAC: "sniffles" "NO one likes use anymore..."

DA: "SIGH" " I tell you what, I'll ask the kid if he can swing by before the draft, give you some positive PR. All I ask is on draft night I'll trade you James Young for the 5th pick."

SAC:........."DEAL!!!!!"
