I love AB. I need a Godfather offer to pull the trigger. I'd rather move Crowder or Smart. But I know Ainge isn't afraid to move anyone, but I believe he always gets good value for his guys. Bemoan his drafting all you want, but what trade made you scratch your head?

I'd take Saric or any one of their plethora of future all but guaranteed lottery picks.

Avery and 2018 nets pick for Saric and #3 this year. (Which we would get Josh Jackson with)

Please move Crowder instead of AB

I'll say it again: as long as Bradley would agree to a sizable extension and Simmons is healthy, a #1 pick and Bradley for Simmons and #3 pick makes too much sense for both sides. You can make some minor adjustments to the trade with some throw-ins on our side or replacing the 3 pick with the 5 pick in a separate Philly/Sac deal, but the groundwork for that deal works really, really well for both sides.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Crowder's on a much better contract, AB is expiring.  Makes all the difference.

JPotter is right, Bradley and 1 for Simmons and 3.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I would want either the Lakers or their own pick, top 5 protected.

If any of those two won't convey, then we take the 2019 Sacramento pick.

I'd be ok with a 1st round pick + stauskas and Simmons or Saric

I'd be willing to take Covington straight up for AB. He's a good SF who can defend and shoot 3's...he's better than Crowder.

Why would you want to give up the better prospect with more years of control? I mean, I guess if you absolutely have to trade Fultz, you could do worse than Simmons and Jackson in return, but quality is clearly preferable to quantity in basketball.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

A friend was just telling me on this site www.nj.com/sports/nbamock draft they have a trade with Philly that goes like this:

Celtics trade 2017 No. 1 overall pick

Sixers trade No. 3 pick, Okafor, Holmes, and 2018 Lakers pick

It then has us trading again with the Kings.
Our new 3rd pick for the 5th and 10th picks, and we end up with Josh Jackson and Dennis Smith Jr.

In the end we end up with Okafor, Holmes, Jackson, Smith Jr. and the Lakers 18 pick. Lol

Would anyone do this? I think it would eat into our cap space more as well as have more of a roster crunch.

I want Bradley to finish his career here.  To me he's a organizational success.  Hopefully Danny feels the same way.

This is ridiculous fwiw

If the Celtics need to move AB to sign Hayward

AB for the Sac pick plus the rights (option) to swap the Nets pick with the Laker pick next year.
